Shinkoiwa Park

Shinkoiwa Park in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo is located on the west side of Shinkoiwa Station on the JR Sobu Main Line, just between Shinkoiwa Station and the Nakagawa River.

The park is 47,000 m2 in size and has a plaza and a sports field, and among them, a free space called “Shoot Park” where basketball and futsal can be played is popular among young people and children.

In addition, there is a water playground where children can enjoy playing in summer, and the park’s perimeter parkway is ideal for jogging and strolling. The park also has a “Warakutei” restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while looking at the Japanese garden, which is convenient for having a meal or a rest after a day of fun.

In spring, the park is a favorite place for local residents to relax, with many people visiting the park for its beautiful cherry blossoms, which are among the most beautiful in Katsushika Ward.
