Opened in March 2007 in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, a historic area, the complex includes a hotel, cultural facilities, 130 commercial stores, offices, residences, a hospital, a park, and other facilities.
Based on the concept of “On the green,” the concept of a “Japanese garden” has been incorporated into this nature-filled neighborhood, where 103 cherry trees, mainly Someiyoshino cherry trees, have been planted.
The adjacent Hinokicho Park is also planted with 44 cherry trees, making it possible to enjoy cherry blossom viewing in combination with a stroll through the park.
The best part of Tokyo Midtown is that the cherry blossoms are lit up at night, with Tokyo Tower and skyscrapers in the background, making it a fantastic spot for couples and adults.
Nearby are Akasaka Sacas and Roppongi Hills, so you can enjoy visiting modern sightseeing spots.
