Located in Koto-ku, Darue Onshi Park opened in 1932 on a site that was once a lumberyard authorized by the shogunate in the Edo period.
The park is divided into north and south sections across Shin-Ohashi-dori Avenue, with a central plaza with a clock tower on the north side, which is suitable for picnics with the family.
The central plaza and the adjacent lawn area are also excellent cherry blossom viewing spots during the cherry blossom season.
The park is equipped with sports facilities such as tennis courts and a baseball field, and there are other open spaces and ponds scattered throughout the park for exercise and water sports.
It is an old park with a community feel, so it is a good place for anyone, young or old, to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and take a casual stroll among the trees. Kinshi Park, Kiba Park, and other parks are also scattered around the area.
