The Tokyo Metropolitan Memorial Hall is a memorial facility located in Yokoamicho Park, where victims of the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake were evacuated to a vacant lot in a planned park on the site of the former Army Clothes Depot.
The fire spread to household goods brought in at that time, and 38,000 people were killed. In 1951, the building was renamed the Tokyo Metropolitan Cenotaph, which houses the remains of unidentified victims of the Great Kanto Earthquake and the Tokyo Air Raid.
The Tokyo Reconstruction Memorial Hall, located in Yokoamicho Park, displays materials and artifacts related to the Great Kanto Earthquake and the Tokyo Air Raid.
