The Nogawa River, a tributary of the Tama River system, originating in Kokubunji City and traversing the Tama area to the southeast, flows through Koganei, Mitaka, Chofu and Komae Cities and joins the Tama River in Setagaya Ward, where a promenade is maintained throughout.
Visitors can walk along the nature trail from near Kitami Station on the Odakyu Line to near Koganei City, which is a precious nature-filled walking path even in Tokyo.
The cherry blossoms are blooming beautifully in the simple nature, and the recommended spots are near Kokuryo-cho, Chofu City, where you can see cherry blossoms and rape blossoms at the same time, and further north, along both banks of the Koshu Kaido road.
The entire promenade is a good place to relax and view the cherry blossoms away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and it is also a good place for families and friends to talk and enjoy the blossoms together.
The surrounding area is a great place for a walking tour, with the greenery of Nogawa Park and Musashino Park along the way, as well as the traditional Jindaiji Temple.
