The beautiful Chidorigafuchi Park was built along the moat on the west side of the Imperial Palace in Chiyoda-ku, and is also called Hanzomon Park because of its proximity to Hanzomon.
About 170 cherry trees including Someiyoshino and Yamazakura are planted, and you can enjoy the beauty of pink cherry blossoms that contrast favorably with the deep green water surface of Hanzo moat and Chidorigafuchi.
Across the street from the park is the beautiful and retro British Embassy in Japan, and the cherry blossoms with the embassy in the background and the cherry blossoms around the embassy side are also very picturesque.
The Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo is a must-see hanami spot around the Imperial Palace for adults and children alike, as many people extend their legs from the nearby Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo, a famous hanami spot.
Nearby are the Imperial Palace, Chidorigafuchi Park and other nature-filled spots. While in the area you should also see the cherry blossoms at the National Theater.
