Located in Tama Hills Nature Park in Tama City, the park is characterized by many natural forests consisting of hills and valleys. Most of the hills are covered with thickets, and visitors can enjoy nature in all four seasons.
During the cherry blossom season, visitors can enjoy the atmospheric scenery of someiyoshino and yamazakura cherry trees scattered in the thickets that adorn the hillsides. You can also enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms around the “Old Tama Seiseki Memorial Hall,” “Cherry Blossom Viewing Slope,” and “Keyaki no Oka,” which are historical buildings in the park and designated as cultural assets by Tama City.
It will be fun to take a nature walk and find your own perfect spot. Yuhi-no-oka” is a great place for families to play on the grassy lawn with a beautiful view. The night view is also beautiful here, so couples and adults would like to enjoy the cherry blossoms illuminated by outdoor lights together.
