Sotobori Park runs along the 2.5 km-long causeway that runs from JR Iidabashi Station to Yotsuya Station in Chiyoda Ward.
The water body is translated as the Outer Moat Park and is a remnant of the outer moat of Edo Castle.
Along the moat, large Someiyoshino cherry trees form a row of cherry blossom trees. The area around Yotsuya Station is ideal for cherry blossom viewing, as it is on a bank with a width of more than 5 meters.
There are hospitals and other facilities around the area, so please refrain from making noise and enjoy the beautiful rows of cherry trees. In other words, it may be a hanami spot for adults.
Of course, it is also a great place for strolling among the cherry trees and a place of relaxation for people of all ages and genders.
The view of the cherry blossoms on the other side of the river will make you pause for a moment. Nearby are the Sotobori Park General Ground where you can play baseball and tennis, and the famous Yasukuni Shrine Which is also a well-known cherry blossom viewing location.
