The Roof Shibuya Sky bar has taken the craft beer movement to a whole new level with their original beers brewed in collaboration with Y.Y.G. Brewery, a city-based brewery located near Yoyogi in Shibuya ward, Tokyo. They have two new brews that are as inspired as the panoramic views the bar offers.

The Angel’s Ladder Hazy Session IPA is a beer you can’t miss. With its name taken from the imagery of sun rays piercing the cloud, it promises an uplifting experience. This original brew uses five types of hops for a light-bodied IPA, producing a tropical and fruity taste that’s perfect for lounging under Shibuya’s blue sky.

Magic Hour-Pale Ale

To recreate the magical hour when the sky changes its colors, there’s the Magic Hour Pale Ale. This citrusy pale ale, brewed with butterfly pea flowers, surprises patrons with its color-changing property. When you add a squeeze of lemon, the beer transforms from a unique purple to a sunset-like amber hue. Both the visual and taste sensations of this special beer are twice as enjoyable. It’s a limited-time offer available only in 2023 at “The Roof Shibuya Sky”.
