Chuo Park (Central Park) is located in Kita-ku, Tokyo, and covers a total area of approximately 7.5 hectares, which was originally a military site.
About 220 cherry trees are planted in the entire park, but they are planted in concentration so that visitors can enjoy more magnificent cherry blossoms than the number of trees.
The area around the Cultural Center, which was used as a field hospital for the U.S. Army after the war, is one of the two most beautiful spots to view the cherry blossoms, with the pink color shining against the white walls of the Western-style center.
There are also sports facilities such as a baseball field and tennis courts, a water playground, and a cycling course, so families and friends can easily enjoy themselves together.
In the surrounding area, there are many places to enjoy nature and cherry blossoms, such as Asukayama Park and Otonashi Water Park.
