Zojoji Temple Cherry Blossom Viewing Guide

Located on the east side of Shiba Park near Tokyo Tower, Minato-ku, it is one of the seven major head temples of the Jodo sect and is known as the family temple of the Tokugawa family.

The temple is known as the family temple of the Tokugawa family. After passing through the Sanmon (three gates), the entrance to the temple, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the main hall and Tokyo Tower behind it, set against a background of weeping cherry trees.
