Vietnam, a country with rich cultural history and mouth-watering cuisine, is making its presence felt right in the heart of Yokohama this September. If you’ve ever dreamt of traversing through the bustling streets of Hanoi or relishing a bowl of authentic Pho, now’s your chance – and you don’t even need a passport!
Vietnam Festa in Kanagawa 2023

On September 9th (Sat) and 10th (Sun), Nihon Odori, located in the central part of Yokohama city, Kanagawa, will be transformed into a vibrant Vietnamese marketplace for the “Vietnam Festa in Kanagawa 2023”.

The festa’s purpose? To foster and expand economic and cultural ties between Vietnam and Japan.
While September 8th (Fri) focuses on business discussions in the “Economic Program”, the subsequent two days are dedicated to the public, allowing everyone to indulge in the “Cultural Exchange Program”.
Dive Into Vietnamese Gastronomy

Prepare to be enticed by the alluring aroma wafting from the various food stalls, each showcasing authentic Vietnamese gourmet. Whether you’re a Pho aficionado or on the hunt for a crispy Banh Mi, there’s something for every palate.
Water Puppetry & More

Last year’s festa took attendees on a unique cultural voyage, with Elephant’s Trunk Park hosting the traditional Vietnamese “Water Puppetry” show, an art form boasting a thousand-year legacy.
But that’s not all! The festa comes alive with music live performances, talk shows, and Vietnamese traditional musical instruments playing in the background. It’s a mini Hanoi right here in Yokohama.
