Oshiage Tensojinsha is a Shinto shrine that was designated as a village shrine of the former Oshiage village in October 1872, and the day of the festival of the goddess of war is September 16.
The shrine is also widely revered as a village shrine in the Oshiage and Narihirabashi area where the Oshinari shopping arcade is located, and although it is located just across the street from Asakusa Street, it is a very quiet and elegant shrine.
It is also close to the Tokyo Sky Tree, which can be seen from the top of the shrine and it’s a popular place to take a photo of the old and new together.
