Located at the west end of Metropolitan Sayama Nature Park in Musashimurayama City, this is the largest urban park in the metropolitan area where rich nature remains. Its area is approximately 260 hectares including the planned site.
In addition to natural scenery such as clusters of katakuris and firefly habitats, the park also has satoyama homes and kishi-tambo (rice field), offering a valuable view of satoyama scenery. Visitors can also fully enjoy nature by hiking and bird watching.
Lake Tama and Lake Sayama are located in the vicinity, so visitors can enjoy a different kind of nature from that of the satoyama.
