The Diet Building, located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, was constructed in 1936 with the highest quality materials in Japan. The Diet building, including the lobby, plenary sessions of the House of Councillors, the House of Councillors’ resting room, the central hall, and the vestibule, is open to visitors on weekdays only.

The reception desk is open for visitors, and the tour takes about 60 minutes.
