Minatogaoka Futo Park is located in a corner of Oi Pier, across the Oi Chuo overpass in Shinagawa Ward, and features a small artificially created hill.
It features a walking path through a wooded area surrounded by trees, a fountain plaza, and other green scenery, and airplanes arriving and departing from Haneda can sometimes be seen up close.
The south side of the nature pond and the grassy area on the gentle slope provide a place to enjoy barbecues free of charge and without reservations.
The surrounding area is dotted with nature-filled parks such as Chuo Seaside Park and Tokyo Port Wild Bird Park.
