The former Yasuda Garden was a tidal garden that utilized the ebb and flow of the Sumida River during the Ansei era (1854-1860) in the former Address of the Honjo of the Ashikaga clan in Shimono.
The garden was later transferred to Sumida Ward, where it is now artificially created to recreate the tidal state of the river.
