Cosmo Planetarium Shibuya is a planetarium that opened in November 2010 in the Shibuya Ward Cultural Center Owada. It is the first planetarium to be revived in Shibuya in nine years, since the closure in 2001 of the Goto Planetarium, a long-time favorite.
The planetarium is equipped with a hi-tech projector and a full-dome surround digital moving image projection system.
Visuals related to the universe, the earth, life and culture with a beautiful starry sky and realistic images are displayed.
The number of seats is small compared to the size of the planetarium, but the space is spacious enough to accommodate them all. The 36 independent seats are very popular and fill up quickly.
Another attraction is the easy Directionsibility of the restaurant, which is only a five-minute walk from Shibuya Station.
