This is a Tokyo Metropolitan Nature Park covering approximately 775 hectares around Lake Tama in Higashiyamato City, Musashimurayama City, and Mizuho Town, Nishitama County.

It is also nice to view the cherry blossoms while cycling along the lakeside, as there is a 21.9 km long cycling course. (Bicycle rentals are not available.)

We recommend the cherry grove near the northeastern part of Enzutsumi, which divides Lake Tama from east to west. In the park of “Metropolitan Sayama Nature Park” facing Lake Tama in the nature park, about 600 cherry trees including Someiyoshino, yamazakura, satozakura, etc. are planted, and the scenery and nature of the satoyama of Musashino still remain strong.

Families can enjoy the park as it is popular for elementary school field trips and bird watching. In the surrounding area, it is adjacent to Saitama Prefecture Sayama Nature Park across the metropolitan border, and various leisure activities can be enjoyed at Seibuen Amusement Park and Seibu Dome.
